Original glossy 11 x 14.25 photo of Marilyn Monroe reclining on the diving board of the famed Tropicana Pool at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, California, in 1951, taken by photographer Larry Barbier, Jr., and printed from the original negative during the 1980s. The reverse bears vintage Agfa watermarks. In fine condition, with slight edgewear. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA, certifying it as an authentic Type II photograph. The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel occupies a notable place in Monroe lore, having served as the setting for several early modeling and publicity photographs during her rise to stardom.
