Two ink signatures of pioneering American aviation heroes of the 1920s — Richard E. Byrd (“with best wishes, R. E. Byrd, May 25, 1927”) and Eddie Rickenbacker (“Capt. E. V. Rickenbacker, 1927”) — on individual off-white slips measuring 3.25 x 1.75, each affixed to slightly larger black backing sheets bearing contemporary collector notations dating the signatures to May and August 1927, respectively.
