The Athens 2004 Olympic Torch Relay was the first to carry the Olympic flame around the world prior to the Games, visiting all previous Summer Olympic host cities as well as several additional cities across five continents before arriving in Greece. Adidas supplied apparel for torchbearers, volunteers, and staff, creating a distinctive visual identity for both the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
