The 132nd IOC Session was held in PyeongChang, South Korea, in February 2018, in conjunction with the XXIII Olympic Winter Games. Among the matters addressed, the IOC moved the 4th Summer Youth Olympic Games from 2023 to 2022 and indicated that an African city should be considered as the host, reflecting the organization’s interest in bringing the Youth Olympic Games to the continent.
