Three posters issued for the Lake Placid 1980 Winter Olympics featuring watercolor paintings by artist John Gallucci, measuring 24 x 36 and 23.75 x 36.5, two of which depict two skiers cruising below Whiteface Mountain, and the third of a downhill skier with knees lifted and speeding through a drift of snow. The largest of the posters is a limited edition print numbered 720/1000 and signed in felt tip by the artist. Rolled and in overall fine condition. A recognized watercolorist and a Signature Member of the American Watercolor Society since 1953, Gallucci was an educator in the Lake Placid area for most of his career and was chosen to represent his home with a group of 1980 Winter Olympic Posters.
