Group of 11 personal household, business, transportation, and pet-related documents from the Los Angeles collection of Who drummer Keith Moon, dating from 1975. The archive offers an intimate snapshot of Moon’s day-to-day domestic life during his mid-1970s residence in Beverly Hills and includes a variety of routine service receipts, invoices, veterinary records, and retained accounting sheets. Highlights include: an Interamerican Customs Broker delivery receipt for “personal effects” shipped from London to Moon’s 2723 Benedict Canyon residence; a White Tie Limousine Service invoice addressed to “Mr. Keith Moon”; a Beverly Hills Telephone Answering Bureau statement for Moon’s Benedict Canyon address; multiple Robertson Blvd. Animal Hospital veterinary forms and receipts pertaining to Moon’s dog “Bonzo”; Turner’s TV–Radio & Key invoices and rental receipts for a Zenith color television delivered to Moon’s home; and two retained carbon/impression sheets bearing transferred handwriting and signature impressions attributable to Moon. In overall very good to fine condition. A candid and unusually personal glimpse into Moon’s offstage domestic routines and Beverly Hills lifestyle during 1975.
