Uncommon original 5.5 x 8.5 six-page program for three concerts by the Grateful Dead at the Giza pyramid complex in Egypt, September 14–16, 1978,. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing, toning, and some minor surface loss to the outside covers.
The concert planning was ambitious and logistically complex, involving international coordination, transporting equipment to Egypt, and organizing performances near the pyramids with hopes of creating a culturally significant, almost mystical event—the final night's performance coincided with a total lunar eclipse. The live recording was eventually released on CD and DVD in 2008 under the title Rocking the Cradle: Egypt 1978.
