Four detailed original sketches by Jerry Garcia, accomplished in ink and pencil on sheets ranging in size from 3 x 5 to 4 x 6, with subjects including: a man's face over a clenched hand; two figures together; a man saying, "Hey atsa matta you!"; and abstract geometric forms. Garcia's drawings are largely characterized by loose, gestural line work, lending the figures a sense of movement and immediacy, like they were drawn quickly from observation or imagination.
