Description

DS, one page, 8.25 x 10.75, October 2, 1964. General Artists Corporation contract between Rolling Stones booking manager Eric Easton Ltd. and Phil Gary, who agree to schedule a Rolling Stones concert at Wampler’s Arena in Dayton, Ohio, on November 13, 1964, for $3500. Signed at the conclusion by Eric Easton and Phil Gary, the latter of whom also signs an attached rider, which stipulates the Stones would not “perform before a segregated audience.” In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.

A notably sparse crowd greeted the Rolling Stones at Hara Arena in Dayton during their 1964 appearance, with only about 300 attendees. The performance took place during the band’s second American tour, an 11-show run from October 24 to November 15, 1964, mounted in support of their album 12 X 5.
