Original yellow 15.75 x 23.5 poster for a Van Halen concert at De Stads Doelen in Delft, Netherlands, on May 5, 1978, as part of their very first world tour. The poster lists the supporting act as the Loomis Gang. In very good to fine condition, with creasing, a couple of stains, and intersecting folds as issued. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
Van Halen’s 1978 World Tour, their first major concert tour as a band, covered mainly North America with 125 shows in the United States and two shows in Canada, 38 shows in Europe, and seven shows in Japan. At 172 shows total over 10 months, the tour was one of the band's most extensive overall. Throughout the tour, Van Halen was mostly a supporting act for bands such as Black Sabbath and Journey; however, Van Halen also headlined shows in Europe and Japan.
