Vintage semi-glossy 5.75 x 7.25 silver gelatin photograph of Janis Joplin and Grace Slick by Jim Marshall, whose photography stamp is on the reverse. In very fine condition. Jim Marshall took this portrait of Joplin and Slick in San Francisco in 1967 for Teen Set magazine, capturing two defining voices of the city’s psychedelic rock scene at the height of the Summer of Love and shortly after Joplin’s breakout at the Monterey Pop Festival.
