Revised manual for the Apollo 11 launch vehicle entitled "Saturn V Flight Manual, SA 506," published by the George C. Marshall Spaceflight Center (MSFC-MAN-506, 10 June 1969), 8.25 x 10.75, approximately 234 pages. The foreword states that this manual was "prepared to provide the astronaut with a single source reference as to the characteristics and functions of the SA-506 launch vehicle and AS-506 flight mission." It provides general mission and performance data, emergency detection system information, a description of each stage and the IU, and a general discussion of ground support facilities, equipment, and mission control. The manual is well-illustrated with numerous diagrams and schematics for the spacecraft's many systems and subsystems. In very good to fine condition, with light scattered stains, scuffing, and creasing to wrappers, an ownership inscription to the front cover, and light wear from use.
