Partly-printed 4 x 2.5 pass issued by the Northwestern Overland Mail Company in 1881, marked as "No. 6," issued to Robert Gatzmer of the Philadelphia and Atlantic City Railway, and signed by the firm's president. Conditions and destinations are imprinted on the reverse, in part: "Good on following lines: Kansas.—Harper and Medicine Lodge, Harper and Kingman, Caldwell and Fort Sill, Dodge City and Fort Elliott. New Mexico.—Socorro and Fort Stanton. Dakota.—Terminus Northern Pacific and Miles City. Oregon.—Dalles and Prineville, Dalles and Baker City, Canyon City and Fort McDermitt, and all lines of the North-Western Overland Mail Co." In fine condition.
