(Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Original panoramic concept painting by Frank Follmer for Pinocchio, accomplished in graphite and watercolor on a 15 x 9.25 sheet, signed in the lower right in pencil, “F. Follmer.” The artwork shows the inside of Geppetto’s woodshop, which contains several characters from the film, including Geppetto, Pinocchio, the Blue Fairy, Figaro, Jiminy Cricket, and Cleo. Double-matted to an overall size of 19.5 x 13.75. In fine condition. Follmer worked at Walt Disney Studios from the late 1930s through the early 1940s, assisting on projects like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and Fantasia.
