Original vintage glossy 8 x 10 news service photo of Chicago Outfit crime boss Al Capone in a half-length pose with a cigar in his hands. The photo bears several editorial marks and corrections, such as Capone’s profile outlined with white ink. The reverse bears a United Press International credit stamp and pencil notations that date the image to 1928. In very good to fine condition, with scattered creases and aforementioned corrections. Encapsulated by PSA as an authentic 'Type II' photograph from circa 1958-1962.
