(Walt Disney Studios, 1963) Three original production drawings from The Sword in the Stone, which include two drawings of Wart, the future king of England, and one of the mighty wizard Merlin. Each drawing is accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 15.5 x 12.5 animation paper, which is marked in its respective lower right corner, “D-82,” “91,” and “139.” Character images range in size from 3.5 x 3.75 to 6.75 x 7.5 (Merlin), and show Wart in a wary half-length pose, Wart crawling and inspecting in a nearly full-length pose, and Merlin in a large full-length pose leaning over with his hands behind his back and the end of his long beard touching the ground. In overall fine condition, with overall toning, a horizontal bend, and some creasing to “D-82,” and light creases and a horizontal bend to “139.”
