Original vintage glossy 7.75 x 10 wire photograph released to announce the death of Al Capone on January 25, 1947, which depicts the Chicago Outfit crime boss and his attorney, Abraham Teitelbaum, leaving St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Miami, Florida, on December 30, 1941, after the wedding of Capone’s son. The reverse is date-stamped January 27, 1947, and bears an “Associated Press Wire Photo” stamp. In fine condition, with lightly trimmed edges. Encapsulated by PSA as an authentic 'Type IV' photograph from 1946.
