Signed and inscribed on the half-title page in black felt tip, "For Christopher Jankoski, for what field you choose & what muse you follow—Be true to yourself, Jim Marshall." Includes an ALS signed "Jim Marshall," one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead, in full: "I hope what I wrote in the book is OK—I'm in N.Y. June 10-17? I'll call for that drink. And I have a big show in Sept." Also includes an "invoice" on Marshall's letterhead, on which he writes: "Cost of signing book, 1 Drink, Single Malt Scotch." In very good to fine condition, with short tears and creases to the dust jacket.
