(Warner Bros. Studios, 1990s) Original drawing by Virgil Ross inspired by the 1948 cartoon Bugs Bunny Rides Again and replicating the limited edition animated cel 'Mine Shaft Shuffle.' The drawing features Yosemite Sam in four different poses as Bugs Bunny, to the tune of ‘Wise Guy,’ tricks Sam into dancing and falling into a mine shaft, complete with mine shaft door and sign and a Wild West town background done in blue pencil. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 24 x 13.5 animation paper, signed at the bottom in pencil, "Virgil Ross." Rolled and in fine condition. This original drawing was done to be sold in the Warner Bros. Studio stores in the 1990s—large panoramas with detailed backgrounds are especially rare.
