(Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Original production drawing of the mighty Chernabog from Fantasia, showing the imposing demon with wings spread wide during the terrifying 'Night on Bald Mountain' sequence. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 15.5 x 12.5 animation paper, marked "321" in the lower corner, with the image measuring 13.5 x 10.75. Artist notes above read: “Ribs on outside, Blk. rev.” In fine condition, with light scattered creases, and a few small edge tears.
