(Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Three original production drawings from Pinocchio, each accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 12 x 10 sheets of animation paper, individually marked in the lower right corner as “109,” “64,” and “DXF 47.” Two drawings show a school of tuna fish swimming from the gaping mouth of the sperm whale Monstro—whose upper and lower ridges of teeth are pictured—whereas the third drawing contains outline drawings of Pinocchio in his puppet/donkey form as he and the tuna fish attempt to escape from the jaws of the whale. The lower left of each sheet is stamped as “2003, 10.9, 5.1” In overall fine condition, with some light creasing and edgewear.
