Two original vintage circa 1920s glossy photographs by Underwood & Underwood: an 8 x 10 photo of President Roosevelt addressing a huge crowd at Union Square in Gardner, Massachusetts, during a sweep through New England in 1902; and a 10 x 8 photo of Roosevelt wearing a safari helmet on his return from a 1910 African tour. The Gardner photo carries three Underwood & Underwood credit stamps on the reverse, and the African photo is blindstamped across his face: "File Copy, Do Not Remove." In overall very good to fine condition, with edge tears, corner loss, and the embossed 'file copy' blindstamp touching Roosevelt's face. Both encapsulated by PSA as authentic 'Type II' photographs.
