(Walt Disney Studios, 1961) Scarce set of three original oversized storyboard concept paintings from One Hundred and One Dalmatians, accomplished in mixed media on artist sheets measuring 15 x 12.25 and 16.5 x 13.75, which are, in turn, affixed to cardstock mounts measuring 19 x 16 and 20.5 x 17.75. The artwork, which feature bold lines and rich, vibrant watercolor, offer rare conceptual scenes from the Disney canine classic, which includes Roger Radcliffe seated at his piano in his well-furnished bachelor flat near Regent's Park; the upper exterior of a brick townhouse with a porthole window, through which the curious face of Pongo can be viewed, his eyes wide, ears perked, and his tongue lolling excitedly; and a panoramic view of several red brick townhouses lining a London street with a passing taxi cab, with the background layered with greenish brown trees, rolling hills, and cloudy skies. In overall fine condition, with trivial rippling, and a couple of drip marks to the upper right of the panorama.
