Just the fifth Mickey Mouse short to be released, The Opry House is one of Mickey’s early sound cartoons, featuring him as the owner and performer in a lively vaudeville-style theater. The short showcases a variety of musical and comedic acts, including Mickey playing the piano and dancing in multiple costumes. It’s notable for being the first cartoon in which Mickey wears his now-iconic white gloves.
