(Walt Disney Studios, 1947) Two original photographic studio model sheets of Figaro and Frankie, the titular cat-and-bird combo from the short of the same name. The Figaro model sheet, 12 x 10, shows the cat in ten poses, with several animation notes: "Head is built on oval—not a circle…Ears are attached to sides of head—not top…Note small tuft of hair on back of head…Keep sideburns and this tuft of hair very short." The Frankie model sheet, 17 x 14, shows the bird in twenty poses, with similar notes: "Ruffs around mouth corners reaches to back of head…Keep eyes wide apart…Keep him cocky—color separation…Big feet with knock kneed effect." Both pieces carry "Walt Disney Productions" ink stamps, and the Frankie sheet also features a rough sketch on the reverse. In overall very good condition, with scattered creasing, and several edge tears and stains to the Frankie model sheet.
