Three cassette tapes containing rare recordings related to Prince and Sheila E., including a TDK tape (with removed labels) that contains a rehearsal with Prince and Sheila E. at SIR Studios on December 4, 1985, with Prince directing the band and detailing the piano intro to ‘Bedtime Story’; a TDK tape marked “Indianapolis 9-7-84,” which contains a recording of a Sheila E. concert during her Glamorous Life Tour (the concert date was actually September 8, 1984); and a Scotch XS II tape marked “Sheila E. live 1984, Park West Chicago, 9-07-84,” also recorded during her Glamorous Life Tour. Untested and in overall fine condition.
From the collection of Susie Davis, former keyboard player for Sheila E., who toured with legendary artists such as Prince, Mick Jagger, Billy Idol, Van Morrison, Sinead O'Connor, and many others. Davis performed with Prince and the Revolution during the Purple Rain Tour.
