Five French-language handwritten letters from family members of the Montgolfier brothers, the aviation pioneers and balloonists Joseph-Michel Montgolfier (1740–1810) and Jacques-Étienne Montgolfier (1745–1799), all of which are addressed to the Montgolfiers’ sister, Marguerite-Thérèse (1743–1811), eight total pages, each approximately 7.25 x 9.5, no dates. The untranslated letters contain content related to her brothers and their flying accidents and experiments. In overall fine condition, with some slightly irregular edge toning to a couple of the letters.
