Vintage crimson crew jacket for the J. Geils Band, size large, featuring knit cuffs, collar, and waistband, an embroidered ‘handprint’ design to the left chest, and the back bearing the band’s name in large white stitching, “The J. Geils Band,” above their record label, “EMI.” In fine condition. The 'handprint' design was first seen on the front cover of the band's eighth studio album, Sanctuary, which was released in November 1978 and their first album released by EMI Records.
