Original disbound funeral program from the services held for Abraham Lincoln in Washington, D.C., prepared on April 17, 1865, three pages on two sheets, 5 x 8, imprinted within black mourning borders. The pages list the "Order of the Procession," showing a diagram of the hearse and pallbearers, followed by a description of the procession—"The escort will assemble in the Avenue, north of the President's House, and form line precisely at 11 o'clock, A.M., on Wednesday, the 19th instant…The procession will move precisely at 2 o'clock, P.M., on the conclusion of the religious services at the Executive Mansion"—and directions pertaining to a federal salute and badge of mourning to be worn on the left arm and hilt of the sword.
