Original circa 1980s Christmas card from Freddie Mercury, measuring 13.5 x 8.5 open, with the front featuring a portrait of image of Mercury that was originally taken during a Vogue photo shoot, and DayGlo pink interior bears printed text: “Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Preening, Pouting, Posturing, Posing Old Tart.” The consignor notes that the card was specially commissioned by Mercury to send to friends. A few signed examples of the cards have surfaced over the years, but unsigned ones have not previously been seen on the open market. In very fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
