Limited edition color 13.5 x 10.5 print of a drawing by artist Michele Tate commemorating the crew of the tragic Apollo 1 mission, which depicts Gus Grissom, Edward H. White II, and Roger Chaffee next to a soaring Titan IV rocket, numbered 8/15, signed in the lower right corner by the artist. The print is double-matted and framed with two embroidered patches for the 45th Space Wing and the launch of a Titan IV Centaur rocket (mission B-41) on February 27, 2001, which was named “Gus,” in honor of Gus Grissom. Framed together to an overall size of 20.25 x 16.25. In very fine condition.
