Original vintage circa 1971 glossy 8 x 10 photograph of Bruce Lee smiling for the camera, dressed in a plain white shirt. Reverse bears a National General Pictures stamp and affixed caption, in part: "Bruce Lee stars in 'The Chinese Connection.' 'The Chinese Connection' continues the adventures of Bruce Lee, 'The Man With The 'Fists of Fury,' whose fantastic skills at karate and Kung-fu enable him to compete against overwhelming odds." In fine condition. Encapsulated by PSA as an authentic 'Type I' photograph.
Fist of Fury was mistakenly released in the U.S. as The Chinese Connection, a title meant for The Big Boss and intended to capitalize on the popularity of The French Connection. The mix-up led to The Big Boss being released as Fists of Fury, with the titles remaining swapped until 2005.
The Marc and Mary Perkins Collection.
