Unique collection of forty-two honeymoon photographs of Princess Diana, King Charles, and guests, taken during their eleven-day honeymoon cruise of the Mediterranean on the Royal Yacht Britannia in 1981. The relaxed photographs include Prince Charles and Princess Diana enjoying the onboard crew shows, the crew presenting two glass goblets to the couple, welcoming President Sadat of Egypt on board, the couple watching a flotilla of small ships around the yacht, and also some visiting film stars on board Britannia. The film stars include Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Michael York, Anthony Hopkins and President Sadat of Egypt, along with their wives. The photographs, ranging in size from 5 x 4 to 10 x 8, have been corner-mounted within a modern 12 x 12 album by the consignor. In overall fine condition. Consignor notes that these were taken by the royal photographer and printed onboard the Britannia, as it was equipped with its own photographic lab.
