Archive of 38 original vintage silver gelatin photographs of Theodore Roosevelt and his travels by Underwood & Underwood, comprising 20 smaller photos (about 3 x 3 to 3.75 x 4.5), affixed to captioned scrapbook sections, and 18 larger photos (about 7 x 9 to 8 x 10).
The smaller photos include an image of Roosevelt in a top hat aboard the USS Mayflower; his arrival at Cairo, Illinois; Roosevelt at Rand Park, Keokuk, Iowa; a press dinner; and a variety of other travel scenes.
The larger photos show Roosevelt amidst large crowds, relaxing, meeting with fellow dignitaries, standing at podiums, delivering an address at the Naval Academy at Annapolis, and other similar shots. Several of the larger photographs are blindstamped "File Copy, Do Not Remove," and many are stamped on the reverse with Underwood & Underwood copyright stamps. In overall very good to fine condition.
