Limited edition color 22.5 x 26.5 high-quality lithograph of John Kosh’s cover design for the Eagles’ landmark album Hotel California, which was released by Asylum Records on December 8, 1976, numbered AP 7/20, signed in the lower border in pencil by Kosh, who designed covers for various famous artists including Bob Dylan, The Moody Blues, Carole King, Electric Light Orchestra, James Taylor, Marvin Gaye, and many more. He is the only Art Director to have worked with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Who. Printed on Quintessence 100lb dull cover acid-free paper and published by Record Art in 1991. In very fine condition. This was published as part of a portfolio by Record Art of New York, circa 1990, in an edition of 200 plus 20 artist proofs. An example of this print is part of the collection of London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.
