Scrapbook album of German lightweight boxer Paul Czirson, measuring 9˝ x 11˝ x 2.75˝, containing approximately 130 mounted photographs (mostly postcard-size), including shots of boxing training and matches, boxing colleagues such as Max Machon (1894-1971, trainer of Max Schmeling) and Fred Bretonnel (1905-1928, who defeated Czirson in the first French-German match in France after World War I), plus many family photographs, World War I images, news clippings, and postcards. In very good to fine condition, with wear to the covers and spine.
