Grouping of marketing material from Apple Computer’s 1987 ‘Faces Campaign’ for the Macintosh personal computer, deriving from the personal collection of Ron Fernandez, a former member of Apple’s Creative Services department and senior MacOS product manager for printing, type, and graphics. The lot includes: two matching string-bound sales portfolios, 9 x 11.5, with the front bearing the Macintosh logo, both containing a brochure, an Apple Desktop Publishing folder, three booklets from Apple Desktop Publishing, Macintosh Product Family, and Apple Desktop Communications, and over a dozen information/specification guides for Apple products like the Macintosh Plus, Macintosh SE, Macintosh II Personal Computer, the Apple Keyboard, the Apple Desktop Bus Mouse, and more. Includes an extra copy of the Apple Desktop Publishing folder and two copies of the Macintosh Product Family booklet with text, “‘I want a computer that makes me better at what I do. And I don’t do computers.’” In overall fine condition, with light wear, and some soiling to reverse of one portfolio.
