(Walt Disney Studios, 1955) Original production cel of Peg from Lady and the Tramp, depicting the sassy Pekingese seated in a large profile pose. Image measures 6.5 x 5.5, with an overall size of 11.75 x 9. The cel is trimmed and presented on a cardstock mount, the reverse of which bears an affixed gold Walt Disney Productions label, stating: "This is an original handpainted celluloid drawing actually used in a Walt Disney production." Included with the cel is its scarce original “A Souvenir from Disneyland” mailing envelope and its protective sheet, which contains an image of a Donald Duck animation cel and caption text: “You now have in your possession a hand-inked and painted cartoon drawing which was used in one of Walt Disney's pictures. It can be matted and framed in various ways to suit your individual color scheme. This drawing should be protected from moisture and excessive handling.” In fine condition, with some slight crackling to Peg's left muzzle.
