(Walt Disney Studios, 1939) Original concept model sheet drawing of the Big Bad Wolf for the Silly Symphonies short film The Practical Pig. Attributed to artist Frank Follmer, the model sheet contains over 10 conceptual sketches of the film’s antagonist, including full-figure poses of the wolf in disguise as a mailman and mermaid, and close-up sketches of his head, hands, and feet. Accomplished in graphite on untrimmed 12 x 9 artist paper, with the upper portion entitled, “Practical Pig.” In fine condition, with some toning to borders.
