(Walt Disney Studios, 1937) Wonderful original panoramic concept painting by Frank Follmer of a large assortment of characters from Fantasia, including Ben Ali Gator, Hyacinth Hippo, Madame Upanova, Bacchus, a centaurette, seven horn-blowing cherubs, and thistles and flowers from the Nutcracker Suite segment. Accomplished in graphite and watercolor on 17.5 x 10.5 artist's paper, signed in the lower right in pencil, "F. Follmer." Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 24.5 x 17.5. In fine condition. Follmer worked at Walt Disney Studios from the late 1930s through the early 1940s, assisting on projects like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and Fantasia.
