Hardcover bound in finely woven buckram cloth and stamped brightly in brown ink on the front boards and on the spine, with the first-issue dust jacket (illustrated by Elmer Hader with the original price of "$2.75" at the top of the front inside flap and "First Edition" in blue capital letters at the bottom of the flap), 5.75 x 8.25, 619 pages. Book condition: VG+/VG+, with very light edge-wear and a touch of rubbing to the corners of the dust jacket; there is also a small area of dampstain on the verso at the bottom of the spine, but it is not apparent when looking at the richly-colored art work.
