Fantastic pair of large off-white 30 x 40.5 poster sheets removed from the walls of WBCN 104.1, a legendary Boston-based radio station that promoted rock and roll music for over 40 years before closing its doors in 2009. For years, WBCN had its famous guests, as well as others, add their signatures to these posters, which are signed in felt tip by over 60 visiting musicians and entertainers who served as guests at the rock station, some of whom are no longer with us. The group is highlighted by Aerosmith (Stephen Tyler, Joe Perry), Cheap Trick (Rick Nielsen, Robin Zander), The Bangles (Susanna Hoffs, Debbi Peterson, Vicki Peterson, Michael Steele), The Cult (Ian Astbury, Billy Duffy), Dream Academy (Nick Laird-Clowes, Kate St. John, Gilbert Gabriel), Marshall Crenshaw, Mick Jones, Mr. Mister (Richard Page, Steve George), Ted Nugent, Billy Crystal, Steven Wright, and Cheech and Chong. Both posters are framed and in overall fine condition.
