Four articles of Civil War-era clothing, including: an off-white Gingham pattern women’s Victorian bodice-style jacket, with distinctive fitted waist and multi-striped peplum and cuffs; an off-white women’s Edwardian cloth night gown with three buttons to the collar and chest area, which bears an embroidered floral pattern to the neckline; a deep navy blue velvet boy’s jacket with front and side pockets and multi-button embellishments; and a woven straw child’s summer hat with beige ribbon and cluster of fabric daisy flowers. Includes a period wooden coat hanger marked “Hotel Statler” at the top. In overall very good to fine condition, with scattered wear and areas of toning. Accompanied by a deep olive green men’s frock coat from the 1890s.
