Two souvenir porcelain plates from the Montreal 1976 Summer Olympics: a limited edition ‘Olympic Games Plate’ made by Fürstenberg of West Germany with an artwork design by Poluszynski, numbered 1486, 7.75˝ in diameter, with the bowl featuring an Olympic relay runner, Olympic rings, and upper text, “Montreal 1976 Olympics”; and an English-made commemorative plate made by Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, measuring 10.5˝ in diameter, with the bowl bearing an artistic design of Montreal with an Olympic torch carrier, laurel wreath, and lower text, “Montreal, Olympiad XXI,” and the scalloped rim featuring Canadian flags and images of different Olympic sports.
