Uncommon competitor's badge issued for the Sapporo 1972 Winter Olympics. Silvered bronze, 37 mm x 59 mm, with the bright blue double ribbon measuring 80 mm in length. The badge features the Sapporo Games logo over the Olympic rings and the text, “Sapporo ’72,” and a dark green enamel bar reading, "Competitor." The blue ribbon indicates that the badge was issued for an ice hockey or ice skating competition. Complete with its original white leather presentation box.
