Six official badges and pins issued at the Stockholm 1912 Olympics, a group highlighted by a rare official silver badge presented to high-ranking officials and senior leaders at the 1912 Games, 25 mm x 37 mm, which depicts an ancient Greek athlete’s head with lower plaque reading: “Olympiska Spellen, Stockholm, 1912.” The badge retains its scarce original yellow and blue ribbon, which extends to a length of 76 mm. Reverse is stamped with a Sporrong & Co., Stockholm maker’s mark.
The group also includes: two silvered bronze competitors’ participation badges (one with its original yellow ribbon); a gold-tone badge with a similar design but no marking on the reverse; a blue enamel “Stadion” press badge with gold lettering; and a gold-tone stickpin badge with a lyre harp with wreath for the “Swedish Singers' Association,” with yellow-and-blue ribbon and bar marked “12-14 Juli 1912.” In overall fine condition.
