Manuscript document, one page both sides, 6 x 7.75, no date but circa 1774. Roster of a Massachusetts militia company organized near West Springfield, listing the names of over two dozen men as well as their shortages in equipment. In part: "Asa Austin, no knapsack…Benjamin Bennett, no ball cartridges…Henry Stebbins Russel, no gun or knapsack flints powder and ball…Isaac Roberts, no knapsack…William Foster, deficient of all…Gilbert King left the ranks." In very good to fine condition, with edge toning, and paper to the lower left corner.
