Description

Color 14 x 22 cardboard boxing-style poster honoring the Jimi Hendrix Experience, which features a large central portrait of Hendrix, with bold upper and lower text listing the band’s name, hit singles (“Hey Joe” and “Purple Haze”), two East and West Coast concert locations (“Whiskey A-Go-Go” and “Greenwich Village”), and summer dates of August 16-18, 1967. Of those dates, Hendrix only played one concert: the Hollywood Bowl on August 18, 1967. On August 16, 1967, Reprise Records released the Experience's second U.S. single, ‘Purple Haze / The Wind Cries Mary.’ Published by Tribune Showprint. In fine condition, with some light creasing.
