Krabs from ‘Squeaky Boots,’ episode 8b of the first season of SpongeBob SquarePants, placed on a wonderful master production background from ‘Culture Shock,’ episode 10a of the show’s first season, which shows the Krusty Krab owner in a bright full-figure pose. Character image measures 4.75 x 5.5, with overall dimensions of 13.75 x 10.75. The lower right corner bears a Nickelodeon seal and is marked “A14,” and the background is marked “SB 122, BG 34.” In fine condition. A sought-after cel and background set-up from the adored first season of SpongeBob SquarePants, the show’s only season to use the traditional cel animation process. Production cels and backgrounds from the ‘golden era’ of SpongeBob remain rare and highly collectible.
