The cel depicts Plankton in an angry full-length pose standing next to, presumably, a giant lobster claw. Full character image measures 7.25 x 4, with overall dimensions of 14 x 10.75. The cel is marked “C19,” and the background is annotated as “S/B #109, BG 176.” In fine condition. A terrific cel and background set-up from the acclaimed first season of SpongeBob SquarePants, the show’s only season to use the traditional cel animation process. Production cels and backgrounds from the ‘golden era’ of SpongeBob remain rare and highly collectible.
